# Betting guide

A practical guide to bet slips, price checks, and ticket statuses; binding terms remain in Terms and Agreements.

This page is a practical guide to using the sportsbook. It is not a separate contract or a guarantee of an outcome. Review the current Terms and Agreements for binding conditions and for rules about eligibility, cancellations, postponed or abandoned events, void selections, and disputes.

### Before you submit

* Check the event, market, selection, displayed odds, and stake in your bet slip.
* Only selections shown as available in the app can be submitted.
* Prices and market availability may change before placement.

### Price checks and acceptance

WebSport checks the selected prices again when you submit. If a price has changed or a market is no longer available, the bet is not accepted at the old price. Review the updated slip and decide whether to submit again. A selection in the slip is only a preview until the app confirms that the bet was placed.

### Event timing

Markets may close when an event starts or earlier if the market becomes unavailable. Check the event and market status shown in the app before submitting.

### Results and ticket status

My Bets shows the status of accepted tickets. Open / Wait means the ticket has not been settled yet; required result or market-specific data may still be pending. After settlement, the ticket can show Won, Lost, or Refunded under the applicable terms. See Results & settlement for a plain-language explanation.
